Rake Head Pumpkin/Jack O'Lantern

I love making pumpkins and Jack o'Lanterns out of junk. When I found a rusty, orange metal rake head at the consignment shop, I knew it could be a pumpkin!
Last week I found this vintage metal rake head, that was alreadypainted orange with a little wear and rust on the tines. The handle was missing.
I immediately painted the top of the handle with Hunt Club Green spray paint. (Be sure to use tape or something to protect the bottom of the rake from spray paint!) Then I added raffia. I have a pumpkin.
Taking my idea a step further, I added a Jack o'Lantern face with metal and magnets, and my pumpkin works for Halloween too! See my blog for instructions on the Jack o'Lantern cut outs.
