Shampooed carpets last night, is there something I can put on there to get the little bit dampness out? Baking soda?

If the carpet is still damp after several hours, you used way to much water on them. it should only take around five or six hours in most homes to dry out a carpet. Also turn up the heat. Warmer air will absorb more moisture then cool air will.Helpful Reply
