A while ago I found a large old frame at our local thrift. I wanted it to have a cottage feel so I painted the outer edge white and distressed it. Last month while on a road trip I found a set of decorative plates at a thrift in ID for just a little over $5. I put the two together to create an eye catching arrangement over one of our guest bedrooms.
Decorative plates found at a thrift store for around $5.
Plates hung inside and to the side of a large frame.
Close up of the frame and plates.
The frame and plates are the perfect touch for our cottage guest bedroom
We used an old door for the headboard. I left it the color it was when I found it.
Enjoyed the project?
