Old dresser top with tilt mirror, covered in dust and spider webs.
For a few dollars this was mine. Getting it my car was less easy. I had to find someone to borrow a screwdriver, then, I was able to remove the legs which would have attached to the dresser back.
Mirror removed. Frame scrubbed with a hot water and brillo pad. Sadly, the silvering on the mirror came off like glitter. The glass is beveled. Beveled glass is always a keeper.
Staining and sealing.
I debated whether to have the glass re-silvered or find another solution. I opted for silver paint, found at Pat Catan's.
Temporary location. Later the perfect spot will reveal itself to me.
