How to Make a Magnolia Wreath

These wreaths are very easy to make and cost less than $5!!! I made one in less than an hour with my kids home ;). The fresh wreath only lasts a few weeks but the dried wreath will last years!!!
If you are fortunate enough to have a southern magnolia in your yard like we do you can make beautiful wreaths to decorate your home. If not find a friend that does :). When our magnolia needs trimmed or loses it's leaves I save them rather than sticking them out for recycling. Here are some of my newly cut leaves.
I gather the leaves around a straw wreath form and attach them using green floral wire and glue until the whole wreath is covered. If you would like to see detailed instructions and more step by step pictures of my magnolia wreath please click on the link below to visit my blog, Lehman Lane.
