Minimalist Christmas Tree Stocking Holders

Head to the hardware store and pick up a few wooden post caps from the decking aisle to whip up a new set of holiday stocking holders inspired by everyone's festive favorite the Christmas Tree
Start out with two tree-shaped post caps and green stain. Paint about halfway down the 'step' and let dry
Paint a set of flat caps with pre-drilled holes in matte white craft paint, if your caps are larger than your wooden blocks make sure to paint the bottom as well
Assemble by screwing the flat cap on to the tree and then into your wooden base (predrill a hole so you stay centered!) Check out the blog post for more info on attaching the hanging knobs
