Thanksgiving Tablescape in the Dining Room

The Endearing Home
by The Endearing Home
I love this time of year, the beautiful fall leaves, the chill in the air and knowing that our family will soon be gathering around the table to celebrate Thanksgiving together and all that we are grateful for.
I generally have no idea what my plans are for the table each year until I gather up all of my dishes, linens and decor from around the house. I lay them all out on the table and start playing with options until I find something that I think will work. Then little by little it all starts to come together.
I started with a plaid throw blanket that I folded to transform into a table runner and then I started adding the rest to create our Thanksgiving tablescape using colors from the runner and adding the green for a pop of color.
I always try to only use what I have on hand. The only things I needed to purchase this year were a few candle holders. The two glass pillars are from the dollar store. I love the glow candlelight adds to a table.
The centerpiece was created with a glass pumpkin that I stacked on top of a beverage stand to give it some height and then tucked in some faux floral to add some interest.
The table was feeling very cluttered so the napkin rings are also used as place cards.
I love how planning out our tablescape ahead of time makes setting it a breeze on Thanksgiving day and more time to enjoy with family.

Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
