How I Wrap My Tree In Ribbons

A few years ago I got so frustrated trying to make the ribbons on my tree move gracefully that I came up with this method. I wanted a graceful and flowing look and here it is. Click the link for the tutorial.
I love using gossamer ribbons.
Stop by my blog and see the full post with tutorial. I love the look of the lacey curtins behind the white flocked tree. As you can see I let bits of ribbon stand out from the tree. I do not tuck all the ends in but trim them attractively and allow them to fly free.
I am using silver, burgundy and white this year. I found some old fashioned silver beads on strings a few years ago and love them.
My tree topper is always silvery and icy branches with silver stars. The flocked tree is very heavy with snow and my burgundy satin balls really stand out.
