Hope Williams on Nov 25, 2015Hi Marie. I agree with Missie, it needs a washer. The bad news is a lot of the newer ones need to be replaced rather than fixed. I will suggest taking the faucet with you to save a trip back if it's the wrong piece. OR, call the manufacturer and order the piece from them, if your handy. If no so handy, just remove the faucet. It really is pretty easy.Helpful Reply

Marie Alesi Caruana on Nov 25, 2015Check with the manufacturer to see what size washer you need, then go to Home Depot, Lowes, or your nearby hardware store. Should be fixable. BTW, my first mother-in-law and her family came from Nanticoke many years ago. None of them still around, but I heard so many good things about that little town.Helpful Reply

512181 on Nov 25, 2015Sometimes it is a cartridge that needs replaced. If it is a high end faucet, call the manufacturer, they are very helpful (Grohe, Kohler, etc.) Look up the brand and try to find the faucet online and there should be a parts list available.Helpful Reply

Pauline Sodermark on Nov 25, 2015My faucets are always the cheap ones and when I see leakage here, I replace the whole thing and solve the matter. I have only replaced two faucets in 35 years. However, for ones who have the most expensive of plumbing I have no answer.Helpful Reply

Jane R. on Jul 13, 2016Call the manufacturer, they will usually send you a replacement part for free. I've done it a couple of times. The parts are easy to replace yourself. No need for a plumber.Helpful Reply
