My Home for Christmas Tour

I am excited to be included in the blog hop, hosted by Hometalk and CountryLiving.com! Today I am sharing with you a tour of my home decorated for Christmas.
I like to slowly introduce color into my home so you will see how my decorations start off with white and metallics, then greens and finally the festive bright colors of the holiday.
My living room is the first room that you walk into when you open the front door. There are not too many windows on this side of the house, so I keep the furniture and decorations light and bright.
I love adding lots of pillows and I have a few of those little white throws around the house.
Here is the buffet which I decorate like a mantel - no real mantels in South Florida so we improvise.
Putting together tablescapes are my favorite part of decorating! This year I blended china patterns and used a woven casual placemat for added texture.
And finallyā€¦red! This is our family room and it is where we hang out all the time. This is the fun room!
I add black accents in the pillows and even the gift wrap to achor all the bright colors. I love the colors and mostly, I enjoy that tree when we are all watching a movie together on the couch.
Even the corners got some love. Baskets full of pillows or throws are so warm and inviting.
