Home for Christmas: Holiday Home Tour in Japan

We are cozying up our Okinawan rental with warm tones of copper and wine, fur, and sparkle this Christmas! Come on in and see how we celebrate Christmas on a sub-tropical island.
The local culture inspired DIY Japanese paint brush ornaments that are scattered throughout the space. The best part of this DIY is that it's a great craft for the entire family.
Two of my favorite things this year is starting the tradition of the Moravian star to celebrate Advent and using wrapped presents in our Christmas vignettes. Pretty wrapping paper and bows are practical and beautiful decorations. So is our cat.
Thanks for stopping by! To see the full tour and tutorials for DIY ornaments and handmade decor please visit the blog post. Merry Christmas!
