Save Time and Store Your Decorated Christmas Tree!

Who doesn't love decorating their each year? It is such a special tradition when you are with your family. Every Christmas I decorate two trees- one sentimental, "Family Memory" tree and the other is themed and more of a designer tree. The Family Memory tree is a tradition that I and my family decorate together using school ornaments, and memory ornaments. This tree gets taken down and ornaments are carefully stored away. The second tree is the perfect way for me to express my creativity and make something of a designer look! However, sometimes it turns out just perfect and you wish you could save it exactly how it is... Well guess what- you can!
One of my favorite Christmas hacks is to wrap your decorated Christmas tree to store it. It ends up taking even less space than if you were to put it and all of the decor back into their boxes.
Yep- I really do leave EVERYTHING on my tree! The lights, the ornaments, the ribbon, etc. Wrapping your tree is easy to do and makes decorating next year even easier- all you have to do is fluff and rearrange!
Once your tree is all wrapped up, it ends up looking like a Christmas tree cocoon! It is such a quick, easy thing to do- and putting it back up next year is even easier! This is a great idea for
This is one of my favorite hacks. It saves so much time when the busy holiday season hits. Check out my blog post at the link - I have tips on what to do and what not to do. Believe me- you'll thank me next year!

Joan Azzara Chandler on Jan 04, 2017I will be 80 years old next Christmas! I am definitely doing this for next year. I usually put up 3 trees.,,,,,,,A 7 1/2 - 8 ft. skinny tree, (decorator type)........ and 2 smaller trees in my dining room on either side of the fireplace. My daughter and grandson decorated the large tree, and I did the 2 smaller ones. But now, thanks to you.........I will be wrapping up all three............and no work for anyone next year. Thanks again for the tip.

I want to do it but hubs says spiders will get into the tree from underneath. Here in Dallas we have huge spiders in our garage. Eeek! Thoughts?
