I'm always taking home unusual items I've found, to see what else might be done with them. These were spotted recently while I was volunteering at a local thrift store. I didn't know what the heck they were supposed to be for ... but they were only a buck for all four, and I immediately knew what I wanted to try with them.
There were four of the "L" gizmos, each consisting of two separate parts, and then with a curly cue piece hooked onto the end piece.
First I dismantled and separated all the individual parts. I saved back the pieces I wasn't going to use for this project. Hey, who knows what I could do with those, right?!
Next I pulled out all my (tons of) purses from the closet, and sorted them into two groups -KEEP and DONATE. I explain my easy decluttering process in the full post.
Now all that was left to do was slip my JUNK hooks through the individual wires of the shelf.

And they aren't cluttering up that top shelf. That gives me more storage room :)
