Absolutely beautiful Donna. Hubby and I have looked so often at buying Hydrangeas, but have yet to buy them for one reason or another. Mostly not knowing where to place it. It sure would be nice to have them as part as our decor inside and out year round though. Thanks for the awesome tutorial.

I dried some years ago and they are displayed in a basket on a tall hutch. I did not have the water part known then I just hung them in my heater room. They eventually turnt brown. I took color spray and spray painted them to look real. I still have them after all these years tied with brown packing string.

I use some, dried on the bush, in with my winter flower pot arrangements. Once flowers in my flower pots are finished, I will re-use them on my porch. Fresh cut pine (from my own trees), some naturally dried spent flowers - instead of cutting them down and throw away, I save and incorporate in my winter arrangement. I put the hydrangea in last because they are the most fragile. I also use some interesting branches, found on the ground, in the back - everything adds interest. One year I had some OLD left over 'snow', and lightly sprayed as if some snow landed on them..
