Interior Door Transformation
We started with old standard white flat doors. With only about $12 per door and less then 2 hours of time we transformed plain doors into beautiful door. Read article for full instructions and lots of pictures.
Only about $10 to $12 per door. Just about 1 1/2 hours each.
had to do just a little bit of patching.
Finished doors with new trim, painted black with painted hardware.
No more ugly brass hardware. We used hammered silver.

I have done this "trim" idea for a good many client's homes. Also, black doors are great! However, I have used a "matt" finish or semi-gloss...fewer "bumps" show in the finished product. Glad you were able to think creatively and stayed away from white or natural door colors. Looks great!
