$100 Couch Makeover: Custom Decor on a Dime

People tell me I'm the queen of the thrift store treasure hunt. If you need it, I can probably find it - and for WAY less than a new one would be.
This couch is a recent addition to the "favorite finds" list, because we now have a custom couch for less than $200 all in. Find out how you can do the same!

I snagged this couch from a thrift store for $100 (down from $150) and brought it home with big plans. It wasn't until I got it home that I realized it was a fairly new (4 years old) La-Z-Boy couch. Score!
Once you find your piece, you need to remove all the old fabric. So just get in there and rip it all off!
After you've cleaned off all the old stuff, just grab your staple gun and start placing the new fabric! This is the fun part :-)
In the end, you will have a piece you can love (and be proud of!) for many years, and at a fraction of the cost!

Great professional looking work. I don't think many people have the ability to do this so perfectly. Plus the talented and patient hubby. Mine would just walk past.

I have multiple issues at home with leather couch , dinette chairs and recliners. My cats got to them and I do not know what to do . Should I find anyone to recover or what?

How did you do the cord trim around the couch cushions?
