Jeff C on Feb 10, 2012Heh, I tried and tried to weatherstrip my steel door but it was no use. Sometimes, the whole unit has to be replaced which is what I ended up doing, a new fiber glass door. One tip about Weather Stripping. When shopping, always get the weather stripping that is EDPM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber. Here is an excellent guide on the various types of weather stripping and where you'd typically use it via EnergySavers.org. http://www.energysavers.gov/your_home/insulation_airsealing/index.cfm/mytopic=11280
