3po3 on Feb 21, 2012Cool. Keep us updated on your progress. Are you getting this going in time for early planting this spring? Here is a good greenhouse primer that should help provide plenty of info: http://www.clemson.edu/extension/hgic/plants/other/landscaping/hgic1704.htmlHelpful Reply

Douglas Hunt on Feb 22, 2012That is a great way to get a head start on the season, Deb, and the south side of your garage would be the perfect location. You may want to start with something as simple as a cold frame. Here are some pointers from the University of Nebraska extension service: http://www.ianrpubs.unl.edu/live/g1718/build/g1718.pdfHelpful Reply

Walter Reeves on Feb 22, 2012Solid things in the greenhouse will help retain heat. Use concrete blocks and bricks painted black anywhere you can. They will gain heat during the day and release it at night.Helpful Reply
