Living Room Makeover
It all started with a new TV. We had this great TV armoire in our living room. It worked for 20 years. Then, on a crisp Fall day last year we went and bought ourselves a new TV. We paid under $600 for a sleek, new flat screen and had no idea how this one little treat would turn into months and months of auxiliary purchases.
Like the House that Jack Built, the TV led to a new TV cabinet, which led to a new sofa, which led to two new chairs ~ you get the idea.

It all started when we purchased a new TV that didn't fit into this armoire.
We scaled back the fireplace mantle to balance the fireplace and the tv cabinet.
All of the furniture is now cool grays with splashes of orange and lime green.
Much better than the old TV armoire.

It really was time for a change.

I really like the serenity of the colors you chose, likewise with the scale of the furniture. Many people make the mistake of going big, which if there isn't balance can be too much. Great job.
