I love sharing my half bath renovation and I want to share it with all of you! I would love to show you the steps I took to makeover the bathroom so anyone can have a luxurious feeling bathroom that I now have!
Here's the before and after! Gosh I love reveals! We hung pendants, changed to a wall faucet and frameless beveled mirror, added a stacked stone accent wall, and put a vessel sink on top of an end table. The door was changed in a previous project.
We moved the lights from the wall to the ceiling to bring in the dramatic lighting! The pipes also had to be moved into the wall for a wall faucet. The faucet is one of my favorite parts!
Start by using a stacked stone on the accent wall. Cement board is recommended to support the load of the stone. It's the same as tiling a floor so you need thinset, but stacked stone doesn't need grout.
This is how the stone looks going up the wall!
You can find any end table that is around 34 inches tall to make into a vanity. Just put some polyurethane on it to protect it from the water after you drill a hole for the pipes to go through. This vanity had to fit the vessel sink on top and it ended up being the perfect size and color.
The frameless beveled mirror doesn't take away from the stone, but it adds the perfect amount of elegance.
The wall color was painted a soft white and then it all came together. I love it!
I hope you guys can find some inspiration from our new bathroom. It wasn't that hard to do and one of my favorite projects I've ever done! Check out my blog for more detailed instructions..
