Hey there hometalk friends! Do you like rusty farm house decor? I came up with this crazy idea to glue two tin cans together to make one. I had these gorgeous cotton branches, but I didn't have a tall vase to put them in. I am obsessed with tin cans and use them in my workroom to hold paint brushes and such. So I grabbed two and stacked them together and that magic moment came when I envisioned them as a vase. Yes I have visions.
This is so simple to make! All you need is a can opener and two large soup cans.
Flip the can upside down and take out the bottom using a basic can opener. Now you have a cylinder.
Stack the cylinder on top of the can and glue...it's that simple!
I used different craft paints to give it a rusty look.
The final step was to add a number stencil. I did this by cutting numbers off a tag.
Enjoyed the project?
