A Little Black, Stain & Wood Grain

The funny thing about this coffee table makeover is that I decided on it's color based on a new backdrop that I recently bought. I've been dying to use it and wanted to use a paint color that would work with the backdrop. Who does such crazy things? So I pulled this coffee table from inventory thinking that the ugly honey color would look so much better in black! The top was sanded down to bare wood and oh my!
You can never go wrong with classic black, stain and wood grain. Click over to the blog to see the project from start to finish. And what do you think of my awesome new backdrop?

Where did you find the backdrop? I'm not a photographer, but that seems like it might also work for a Halloween setup.
