Transform Furniture With Milk Paint and DIY Chalk Paint

Don't you love it when your friends and family finally "get" your love of junk, and drop stuff off at your door? While on vacation last summer, a friend dropped off this great piano piece. I've always wanted to part out a piano, but I know it's a big job. Someone else did the work for me.
after some milk paint and a little bling.

I couldn't get past the color, so I whipped up a batch of black chalk paint.

Thanks Gail, evidently my area does not have all that others can get. I am still trying. Sometimes it is a matter of just walking by it or finding the 21st person you ask where to find it.... lol.

Beautiful & creative...Love the metal inserts...Would make a great little headboard as well, attached to the wall instead of the bed :)
