I am moving into a townhome that has a large mirror wall in the dining room divided into three sections.

Yamini M on Feb 10, 2011Lindsey , love the mirrored wall, we have several members here who have done frames for their mirrors in bathrooms, maybe you can do the same for your living room. I apprciate you uploading a picture, it really helps. Here are some projecst you can look at http://www.networx.com/f53dfd6995/project/461 Chk out related projects on the right hand side I know you said that you rent, maybe you should paint the chandelier to match your mirror frames Good Luck!Helpful Reply

James A on Feb 10, 2011That might look pretty good. Even could use ties to gather the sheers and cover the mirror joints. It would be like there was another room. Ever thought about faux finish on the chandelier. Rough up the brass, prime and paint. People go crazy with these .. Christmas lights, wax drippings, toy soldiers, Slinky's, spinners ... it would be what ever you want.Helpful Reply

Lindsay on Feb 10, 2011James- was thinking the sheers would just be one panel on each side so they would flank the framed central portion of the mirror.Helpful Reply

Kat on Jul 13, 2014I lived in a place similar to this, and as a renter I could not do anything permanent. The Mirror wall just did not suit my taste. I used the easy remove hooks (pull tab to remove type thing- now they come in nice bronze look too) and put (in my case) 3 narrow curtain rods across at ceiling height. I hung sheers in an accent color and then across the top I draped lengths of flowers etc that I changed out with the season or month. Light from the mirror still but not so glaring. Softer and warmer feel.Helpful Reply

153091 on Sep 16, 2014Some wonderful ideas for you..the removable hooks give you many options. You said you were renting...would painting the light be an option? Find one you like and take it with you when you move.Helpful Reply
