Have you been wanting to buy one of those fun wooden signs that you see in every decor store but don’t want to pay that hefty price? Well, you can Do it Yourself! You only need a few materials, and you may actually have them around the house and in 7 steps – you’ll be done! DIY Wooden Signs are not as hard as you think! This tutorial is a bit lengthy, so be sure to head over to my blog for all the steps and details!
Step 1: Get thing slats of wood, look to see if you have any at home or head to your local home improvement store
Step 2: Paint the boards the color that you want your letters to be
Step 3: Apply stencil letters - I used the peel and stick letters
Step 4: Then you paint over the boards with your next preferred color
In just a few more steps, you will have a completely custom Laundry Room Sign for a fraction of the cost and you will have made it!
Suggested materials:

Very nice! Didn't think of using the base color for the letters and using stick on letters. This is a keeper.
