I wouldn't any carpet in my home if I had a choice and was able to replace it. Beige in bedrooms is all I have left now. I would have hardwood or tile and then purchase nice area rugs for where ever I wanted the softness. If you've ever cleaned your carpets yourself, you'll know why. Oh so dirty, even when they look clean.
