Shabby Paints on Jun 07, 2013Keep us posted on how you like it. At one point I was told you had to use their artwork. If I could do custom ones I'd be on that today! :)Helpful Reply

CraftingStuff on Jun 07, 2013I have the Cameo and the Cricut Imagine. I like the Cameo much better because you don't have to use their artwork or buy cartridges. You can use any font or almost any image on your computer and it is very easy to use.Helpful Reply

Bonnie Kirschner on Jun 08, 2013I bought mine in January as an award to myself for weight loss. I finally opened it in May and was stuck like you are. I've been doing a lot of glass etching & now I'm working on a couple of t-shirt stencils.Helpful Reply

Kathy Owen on Jun 11, 2013Thanks @Beth Velosa I actually had to view a youtube video to learn how to install the cutting tool when setting it up!! Silhouette really doesn't give any directions in their packaging on how to insert it.Helpful Reply

Beth Velosa on Jun 13, 2013Yes I felt that way with my Cricut until I found a DVD that made me an expert...after seeing your post I checked there first to see if they made one for the Cameo and they didn't...so remembering how You 'Tube has been great with instructions I figured they might have something for you. Like to see some of your projects you make! Keep in touch ladyvelosa1949@yahoo.comHelpful Reply

Georgina on Nov 08, 2013Don't give up, One excellent tip I found was, Use the Silhouette FABRIC BLADE It is perfect for cutting PAPER, AND WORKS LIKE A CHARM, so easy to clean out bits of paper, That was one of my main beefs, the mark for "pattern paper" I use a lot for cutting, also, always do your test cut first, I learned the Hard Way.Helpful Reply

Rose Toellner on Mar 16, 2014I have a Cricut Expression, super easy to use. I've been looking at the Cameo and hate to hear that it's so difficult. I have one of the first Silhouettes and seldom use it because it is difficult, too.Helpful Reply
