Posting ..My little garden---- help...new thread.
Once I got over the horror of moving some stuff and just covering over some other stuff, (like itsy bitsy alyssum seedlings popping up) I realized there is plenty there to give me pleasure still. Hubs pulled out the plastic edging, and put in some nice brick edgers.Put the blue pots in an arrangement of some sort, which is ok for me.And then we went to the store to get something, and yes, I did it again! I bought and bought and bought...so now we have much more planting to do! So many pretties to bring home.new hostas! yaayy!
I saw a horrible thing tho , Tuesday morning at HD..the vendors were there with a new load of plants, and I saw shopping carts of older plants being hauled away! I had to contain myself to not run after them and scream ..no , no,. no....
Anyway I appreciate all the input on the other thread, you guys are great and so encouraging! thanks for being on Hometalk!
The first few pictures are as we started...now looking at it..looks overwhelming to me. How did we ever get it all done? last year at this time, i was useless, since 5bypass in October I am more "useful" now, so was able to help hubs! He is so cool, and good to me!

Bernice H on Apr 28, 2012ha! Thanks kids...going at it again today, to take care of the plants I (sigh) overbought the other day. Yes muscles let us know we arenot spring chicks anymore. @ Kate, the pots were a problem as to how to arrange them. but now they are ok. Just have to fill them in now with more plants, oust the hens and chicks. Before , they were just in a line, not a "design"...Helpful Reply
