I'd put hockey stick tape (white/beige) over the wires. Just my opinion, but your mantle is very heavy and looks suspended. I'd put wood the same width as the bottom parts and make it look more supported. That would draw the eye to the fireplace more as the focal point. It would also help balance the bulk of your TV set up. Like the idea of a tall, leafy plant (artificial or real) to soften the straight edges.
Maybe you could hang curtains. Get a nice rod and hang those curtains with grommets that you could leave open. It would fill that area and help cover those cords. Maybe some pillows on the hearth to soften the area.
I agree with Krager057 - hang curtain panels on that window. Grommets are the way to go. It would soften the area, cover the cords and make your window stand out.
Zip tie the wires together and hide them with some faux vines.
I'd go with a big vase or big basket, or a series of different sized vases/baskets to fill the corner.
Curtains. They would frame that gorgeous window, fill the space and hide the cords.
I had the same situation in my home! I placed a katana sword in that empty space, which fits perfectly with my Japanese-inspired decor. It adds a unique touch and draws attention away from the empty spot :) You might consider adding something that reflects the vibe of your house, like a decorative piece or artwork that complements your overall aesthetic, maybe?
