Using fallen trees as decor
After two white birch trees in our landscape succumbed to birch bore, we cut them down last Fall. I cured them until now, and placed them in a galvanized olive sieve, ready for interior decor.

Marcy, I actually have two containers of branches, and here's a photo of the other one in my house, as is, next to my fireplace (see attached). My plan is to add greenery, lights & glass bulbs at Christmas, maybe other embellishments seasonally.

I can also see one of these on a front porch, by the door, with embellishments. :)
