Repurposed Headboard

The hubby said to get rid of the bulky headboard, so one look at our porch, I knew just what to do!
First thing I did was sand the finish down on the headboard.
Next I painted. This headboard is a queen size, and I would probably advise 2 coats for a good coverage.
So I decided to paint all but the bottom portion as I figured it wouldn't be seen much anyway.
So this part was hard!
What a great start to our front yard renovation!
