Do You Forget to Water? Try Out a Thirsty Lady Bug Meter

I will admit that I am not a fan of gardening gadgets. I see them as a way for retailers to get you to part with money well spent in other ways.
But I changed my mind when I tested this Thirsty Ladybug Led Moisture monitor for the National Home Gardening club recently.
This cute little guy is a digital plant moisture sensor which blinks an LED light to alert the user when it’s time to water a potted plant. It is designed to be unobtrusive when left in the soil of a plant, where it continuously monitors conditions, testing the moisture level once per second.
Nothing is cuter than seeing this little ladybug flashing in my anthurium telling me it is thirsty!
