I own a staging business and go to all the garden shows to keep myself informed on any landscaping and planting ideas.

The first thing in home staging is to have the exterior of the home draw people in. They have 8-10sec to look at the yard and determine if they want to enter.

How true, the exterior is the first impression. The Home & Garden show has some beautiful displays this year.

What colors do you recommend that a house be painted? Or does it just depend on the house/neighborhood?

There are several factors without seeing your neighborhood, your house brick or stone colors etc. Many factors taken into consideration. you also need to paint on samples exteriors are more difficult to select, they look toatally different on the outside than the inside. If you need help we charge $100 for consultation and selection

What a neat occupation! We could all use a quick curb appeal.

Many are poising the age-old question, "Is brick best?" I would think yes is the answer. Don't you?

I've always thought of staging as furnishings and decor inside the home. I didn't realize you also focused on the curb appeal aspect. Would love to see some samples of work you have done!

Curb appeal is the first impression of your house, eventhough i ahve been to home where curb appeal was great but floor plan and interior was not that great. My thing is if the interior works for your needs, curb apeal can be taken care after

When it comes to exterior painting and painting a homes interior, it is always safe to stick to the neutrals!

Absolutely curb appeal is very important- It's the first impression prospective buyers have and we know first impressions are lasting. Even if the inside is gorgeous--you have to draw them in. Pruning, weeding, edging, mulching and placing some annual color will go a long way towards the "come in and see" impulse. We work closely with local realtors- and they have boasted more sold signs than others. It works!!
