Don't Throw That Rotisserie Chicken Tray Away - Recyle It!

I love to do gardening projects with children. It helps to get them interested in gardening and they always seem to be so amazed by the process, which makes it fun.
There are a lot of ways to show children how to start seeds and lots of containers that you can use.
Once great one is a cleaned out Rotisserie chicken tray. Many of them have holes in the lid which is great for ventilation (or you can poke them in) and the domed top gives room to grow and great humidity. (much better than the ones you buy at Lowe's for $15 which is only about 2 inches tall and not good for very long.)
Just add some seed starting soil, water and keep warm. Keep an eye on the moisture. When the seedlings have emerged, move to a sunny spot and let the kids be amazed. You will have budding gardeners in no time at all!
