I live in Michigan and we usually don't plant our veggie garden til after Memorial Day. I have had this planted for alteast a month, we have had an especailly mild winter and spring. Looks like I will finally get my bumper crop of peas, planted them on St. patricks day!

Good for you. I have a few things planted too but still need to get my sugar snap peas and root crops going. I am going to try and do some potatoes. Never have planted them before. I am open to all suggestion on Planting potatoes. HELP?

Lol, speaking of potatoes, I actually have some up from last years crop that I missed! They are very easy to grow, there are many ways to go with them. I hill mine really deep when they get to be about a foot tall. Start mounding soil up around them until you can barely see the tops...sounds crazy I know but it works. Keep doing that through the season and you will be amazed at how many you get, they grow like a chandeleir under ground when you hill them this way. Go to www.vegetablegardener.com and type in potaotes. Many ways to try on there! GL! Also, type in peas too...they say to plant on St. Patty's Day, I did and mine are a foot tall now.
