My use of shoe bags

I have made so many uses for these, I like the netted ones, I have them in three places now, one in the garage in my storage area that holds all my cleaning things, sprays, attachments, ect. The next is in the guest room on the back of the bedroom door. This hanger holds all the needs a vistor may need: shampoo, toothpaste, bandaides, playing cards, hair tyes and so on and much more...... and the third is in my office/nana room that holds pens up high and toys down low.

I think TARGET is the best place to get the clear plastic shoe bags. That's where I got mine for the pantry stuff. I've noticed they come in different sizes.

If you are a scrapbooker with a small space to work it is a great storage for punches.

they dont have to be behind a door...they actually hang in a closet so no one has to see. however these are just gems for organizing just about anything....I use them but now i need to get more seeing all the great uses others have shared too! thanks to all...remeber you can get them at the dollar store too...economical as well!

Dollar Store and Target. I'm so there after work today! I live in an old 1800's farmhouse with no closets!!!

and to all the 'negative nellies' out there....how boring would this world be if everyone knew everything? please get over yourselves...

@Robin F Do the plastic ones get too hot for the roots? I have the neighbors fences to look at, while I do admire the weathered look, it is boring. Marg C I whole hearted agree.

if you use small terra cotta pots, or the opaque canvas one, the roots should be fine

Debbie E, This is a great idea, and want to share that I do the same in my son and husband's closets. I put their formal shoes, rolled belts, and some of their personal small items that when misplace by themselves they would be asking me if I have seen them.

I also have found that these bags don't deserve just shoes. Now all my blow dryers, curling irons, shampoos, etc. have left my bathroom storage area and have found their home in the bag on my bathroom door. Why did't we think of this earlier? A very cheap storage solution!

Just bought two new ones at goodwill yesterday, now off to the plant sales. If they thrive great I'll find a spot for them, if not I'll try other vaireties. summer annuals are on sale as they are just about done blooming.

when using for planting...I kind of watch. Sometimes locations can be too hot for certain times of day. Ideally, good morning sun and dappled afternoon during the heat of the summer. Sorry it took me so long to reply.
