Old Table Gets a Beautiful Makeover
I was on the search for dining room chairs when I came across a set of 4 chairs and a table. I had just gotten a nearly identical table but figured the price was right for the chairs so I'd might as well refinish another table (while the mess was already out).
Unfortunately (after the table and chairs were delivered) I decided the chairs weren't salvageable; and I was left with 2 nearly identical tables.
They were both oak pedestal tables. I sanded them, painted the base...
Decided to keep the top wood and just add some stain.
It started taking shape really nicely!
And ta-da! I love the way it looks in my dining room!
