KMS Woodworks on Feb 22, 2011A lot of the echo has to do with the "other" items in the room...hard blank wall will bounce the sound around more. Upholstered furniture and window coverings can help....most laminates will always sound Hollow compared to a sturdy nailed down solid hardwood floor...even if fancy underlayments are used.Helpful Reply
