Spray Painting Brass

I love brass. Those who read my blog know that I've become obsessed! However, I came across a pair of giraffes that I loved, but just didn't think looked right in their brassy state. Spray paint to the rescue! Check out how they've become transformed with just a couple of coats of paint!
(An added bonus? They're unbreakable! This is fabulous for those with little kidlets running around!)
This was the "before". See how the mom-and-babe are a bit tarnished? I just didn't love it.
After a bit of spray paint, I'm in love!

Hello Tara I would like to know what type of paint did you use and did you have to prep them before spraying painting thank you Darlean

I painted my large pair of Herons that are outside because they weathered to a black. I used a spray paint I found at Wal-Mart that looked like Verdigris (the color brass turns - it's a green color). Now they look like I just bought them.
