Want a fun way to customize your front porch for 4th of July? Make this custom hand painted street number banner for your home.
Using a few simple materials and a couple hours of you time, you can hand paint a street number banner of your own
Use blue tape to divide two sections of a rectangle of canvass (I used a painters drop cloth cut to size).
Paint the top part blue.
Use chevron frog tape to mark of the stripes on the bottom half.
Paint them red.
When it's dry, flip it over and make a pocket on the top and bottom using heat bond.
Slide a dowel in, fold over, and iron the heat bond.
Trace or stencil your street number.
Paint it white.
Hang twine or rope from your dowel to display your pretty banner.
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:
- Paint (dowel)
- Canvas (heat bond)
