Darby C on Mar 14, 2011Take a sample of your soil to your local county extension office. They can test it a give you the best idea on how to fix it. Does your yard have a lot of trees? You may just need to use shade plants and seed mixes.Helpful Reply

3po3 on Mar 14, 2011In addition to the minerals or other materials that your cooperative extension folks recommend, make sure to mix plenty of compost or other organic matter into the soil, and thoroughly till it before trying to plant again.Helpful Reply
