I came across this super heavy, solid hall tree in pretty great shape....just very outdated. Orangy oak and tarnished brass hardware. $35...sold. I didn't originally intend for it to go on the front porch...but it ended up there! And it's a great addition to the ever evolving front porch.

Shelley Patton on Apr 25, 2014I'm so excited to see this project. I have one exactly like this that I bought new many years ago. Used it for probably 20 years in my house and then got tired of it so stored in an old shed. You have inspired me to get it out! It would be perfect for my daughter's apartment (after I chalk paint it just like yours). Thanks so much for the inspiration!
