Going Gray {Gray Kitchen}

All Things G&D
by All Things G&D
After 7 years of fighting it, I've finally embraced the gray! Everything in our kitchen from our original laminate counters, to our new granite, to our DIY tile backsplash has had touches a gray that I've been pretending isn't there - but not anymore! Our new gray paint color is the perfect finishing touch to turn our "builder basic" kitchen into a unique and beautiful space!
Before & After: New granite countertops, a DIY tile backsplash (Riviera Beach from The Tile Shop), stainless steel industrial pendant lighting over the island, and the finishing touch - gray walls!
Before: A picture of our builder basic kitchen when we first moved in.
Another view of the kitchen. The paint color is Sherwin Williams "Anonymous" - I love how it makes our new tile backsplash pop!
I wasn't worried about going too dark with the gray because our main floor is almost entirely windows so we get a ton of light. Leaving one wall ivory also keeps the space bright and prevents it from feeling closed in.

    I like!!!! I have the oak cabinets waited a lot of years to get them and lots of money no way I'm going to paint them as I love natural woods. I really like this update. Good job
