Rhododendrons

This is my neighbors Rhody bush. I think that there is probably two in there but does it matter. Isn't it just beautiful?

She doesn't do anything to it. If it were mine I would be getting down under it and looking to see if there are more then one Rhody there. I will take a walk around our neighbor hood and show you how many different rhodies there are. My only complaint is that the blooms don't last long enough. Maybe two weeks. Then there are just green and eventually turn bare.

I think it would be worth it just for the beauty for two weeks.

    Don't you

I hope that the beauty lasts a few more days as its pouring outside right now and I am a fair weather walker. Just ask my dogs.

Yowza! Now, that's a healthy Rhodie! Lovely! I've never seen one that full before.

I really couldn't tell you as I don't have any as all the ones I have posted are my neighbors. I never see them cutting theirs back at all though. They just drop their leaves in winter and every couple of years some of them will cut them back..I am so jealous that I am surrounded by all these beauties and not a one in my yard. I love them but their blooms just don't last long enough. ehehe. I can find out though about trimming them back and get back with you on that. I belong to another ...»
gardening club and I can find out from them if someone here doesn't have an answer for you.
