Ok, it's not really crap grass, just the name I come up to call it. It's a really fine grass in my front yard, I've covered most of it with the rubber tiles in my patio, but I have quite a bit left over. The grass is really fine, not even worth mowing over, and I can't do that since I've made the mistake of planting canna lillies in it (STUPID< I KNOW), but I still want to kill it to make it easier to dig up so I can plant more lillies or some other kind of plants ....
so my question is what can I put on the grass that won't kill the lillies and dogwood tree in the same area. I've tried the spray stuff that you put on grass surrounding ornamental plants, and it's suppose to kill the grass....it doesn't work on the grass I'm talking about....
My other question, if do apply a herbicide with Glyphosate, how much can the lilies and other plants absorb since the grass is growing right up to the plants?
