Jazzing up my file cabinet

Question

I have a four drawer tall metal file cabinet that I'd like to jazz up to be more festive - it is in the center of my office and universe, I use it all day.  I want it to be fun and cool like me, Any ideas/suggestions. It works great, but it's booooring & ugly.

We tricked out an old refridgerator for a church youth building with black/white checkerboard print contact paper.  Would work on your file cabinet too.  Lots of neat prints at the box stores.

Yes contact paper works great I've done that too!
You can also decoupage it!!

You would have to prime if you chose paint unless you sprayed with a Rustoleum product.

I took an old wooden two drawer filing cabinet and gave it a new look. Painted it, glazed it and took my bottle of Mod Podge and some old fashioned ledger and invoice pages I got from Knick of Time and made this.... If you have a metal cabinet, either prime it well with an anti-rust metal primer or use a paint that has primer for metal already in it and have FUN!

Paint it a fabulous color (like turquoise or coral) and then use cool stencils (such as black and white checks, or whatever you like) to dress it up.
