We are replacing all white appliance with stainless stain I think and if we get the white corian refinished will it

update the look enough or do we need to replace with granite or quartz?

  • The granite will give your space a newer look. The new stainless steel appliances will look great but may not tie back with the refinished Corian. Kitchen remodels happen only twice in a life time, go for it and replace your counter tops too.

  • To keep it simple, browns are good. It will also go with your decor. Since you have a reddish stain for the cabinets try lighter browns with specks of dark color.

    I think that dark gray would be a good color choice.
  • Hi Susan - Granite typically has a higher resale value than Corian. It is a sought-after product and actually has come down in price over the years. A Level A or Level B granite is very reasonable. With your rich cabinets a Santa Cecilia would pick up the colors but also add a warmth without going too dark!
