Luxury Pet Beds

I am a big lover of pets and nothing is too good for my two little jack Russell’s. So I wanted to make them a pet bed with a difference. I ended up with a great looking foot stool that blends in with my home decor, and a perfect hideaway for them inside.

And just to make them feel that they are real kings of the castle, I made them an outside house to chill in during the day.

They chill upstairs when they want to lay in the sun, and at night they climb inside where it is nice and warm.

And I built in a storage cupboard under the stairs for all their tinned food and biscuits.
Mini chaise lounge for a spoilt little cat
I made this mini chaise as a test run for a full size one, that I was asked to make for a friend. And this lucky cat I now the owner.

  • I never photographed this one step by step. But I just cut the 6 sides to make the cube. I cut out the door on one of the pieces and screwed them all together except the floor. The legs were old table legs that I cut up. I cut small pieces of wood to screw a few centimetres from the bottom so the legs wood fit in and that the floor can secure to. The top was a piece of foam mattress. I covered the top first, then covered some piping to hide the staplers. Then covered the bottom. The studs were left over from a previous job. Hope this make sense. But if you are not that good at DIY take an old footstool and convert that..
