Organizing Our Small Pantry

We recently downsized and our pantry was less than half of the size of our previous house. To make matters worse, there were only 4 wire shelves that were 12 inches deep when our last house, the shelves were 16 inches deep. I was really stressing how the 8-10 boxes of pantry items were going to in the new pantry. I had already pared down a bunch of things before moving.
I started putting things in the pantry and realized it wasn't going to work. There were only 4 wire shelves plus a wire organizer on the door.
We wanted to minimize the cost of making all the closets in the house , plus we had some leftover wire that we took out of another room, so my husband added a couple of extra shelves.
We were able to fit all of our food items and paper goods into this small space, but we still needed more room to hold other pantry items and small appliances.
We took this former coat closet near the kitchen and my husband installed adjustable melamine shelving. It was one of 2 coat closets and we didn't need it for coats. Stop by the blog to see how I was able to fit everything in and more!
