Finding the right color can sometimes be tricky. Here are 5 tips for making sure you don't regret the color (
-Use paint chips to find your favorite 2-3 colors
-Use the paint sticks and samplers like paint chips (they'll reflect the finish)
-Paint swatches on the walls to see on the color, finish, and texture look
-Check the colors at several different times to see how the light affects the paint
-Paint swatches at corners to compare different rooms

Shirley Kalinosky on Aug 18, 2014I paint a block about 6 x 6 on each wall and make sure I put it where there is sun and shade. Also I get an extra color swatch and cut it and tape it under the light switch and if I forget or the next person who will own the house wants the name and brand, it's there.
